The Red Sea Pedestrians are delighted to announce that the Friends of Lancasterian will be our charity for the forthcoming Philanthropic Lunch. The lunch, being held on the 27th November, will be looking to raise close to £35,000 that the Lancasterian needs for their Senior and Primary play areas.

The Friends of Lancasterian are a charity that works exclusively with children and young people from Greater Manchester that have sensor impairments and/or physical disabilities. The lack of accessible transport and play facilities means that many disabled children miss out on the healthy physical, social and emotional development.

At our previous lunch we smashed through the target figure and managed to raise over £280,000! The money raised was put towards the construction of the new Children’s Hospice on Dumers Lane, Radcliffe. Photos and more information on the event can be found on our 'Past Events' page.
